Upcoming Album
Heather Neuenschwander and Rose Bishop are beyond excited to share the release of our new album, Unseen//Unheard, on Friday, September 26th!
This is the first album ever devoted entirely to duets for alto flute and bass flute, all composed within the past three years and commissioned by one or both of us.
Unseen//Unheard features an extraordinary collection of pieces by ten visionary composers: Nicole Chamberlain, Timothy Hagen, Leanna Keith - Flutist, Zachery Meier, Alyssa Mercedes Mena, Lisa Neher, Arturo Rodriguez, Sonya Leonore Stahl, Julie Stone, and Yoshi Weinberg. Each work brings a unique voice to the world of low flutes, expanding the repertoire in bold and beautiful ways.
We’re honored to be releasing Unseen//Unheard through Strange Moon Records on Friday, September 26th, and we’ll be celebrating with an album release recital that evening at 7 PM at the The James Theater in Iowa City. We’d love to see you there!
