Remote Recordings
Rose Bishop is a flutist based in Iowa, USA, with classical training and extensive performance experience across 13 countries on three continents. Her repertoire spans a diverse array of styles, seamlessly blending classical with world music genres. Rose is known for her ability to incorporate extended techniques and improvisational elements, making her performances both dynamic and engaging. Whether on stage or in the studio, she brings a unique flair to every musical setting.

In addition to her orchestral career, Rose is a champion of new music and has commissioned and premiered over 100 pieces for a variety of flutes, including piccolo, c flute, alto flute, bass flute, and contrabass flute. For examples of her new music recordings, including several world premiere performances, visit her Youtube Channel.

Her recording of Night Song for Moths for solo piccolo is to be featured in the documentary Walk a Giant Staircase later this year, which tells the story of Jug Handle Ecological Staircase on California’s northern coast, an area that literally rose out of the sea in five “steps” over 500,000 years.

I utilize a professional recording studio that includes a recital hall and offers a diverse selection of microphones for various recording needs. In addition to audio recordings, I can deliver video packages and host live premieres for new music performances.
