ROSE BISHOP

Rose Bishop is the Instructor of Flute at St. Ambrose University, Coe College, Cornell College, and Kirkwood Community College.She has served as Flute Instructor for Mount Mercy University, the Philadelphia International Music Festival and was the Flute Instructor at Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Missouri where she taught Applied Flute and music courses from 2014 until 2019.

 

Rose is the Artistic Director, Founder and Flute Faculty of the Eastern Iowa Flute Workshop and the Cornell College Summer Flute Camp. As a private teacher, she maintains a large flute studio of all ages her home in North Liberty, her studio at Coe College, and several local schools in the Iowa City and Cedar Rapids area. Additionally, she joined the Quad City Symphony's Private Lesson Program in February, 2022.

 

She teaches masterclasses and sectionals at schools throughout the Midwest, and hosts many events throughout the year dedicated to helping young flutists achieve their dreams. Rose Bishop maintains a private flute studio of students in the Iowa City, Coralville, North Liberty, Solon and Cedar Rapids area, and welcomes students of all ages and skill levels. Whether you are a beginner who just picked up the flute, an intermediate player looking to advance their technique, preparing for an audition or performance, or an adult that's excited to get back into playing, Rose is excited to provide personalized, enthusiastic instruction that meets each student's needs!
